| Ha Mosheh Mediated Covenant The establishment of the Moses mediated covenant with Israel was the beginning of the fulfillment of the physical covenant promises made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and one more step in God's plan, devised from the foundation of the world, for convincing most humans to gladly enter into the eternal joy of the Family of God through faith with living works and not through the futile vanity of dead works alone. Exodus 6:2-8 God spoke to Moses and said to him, 'I am Yahweh. 3 To Abraham, Isaac and Jacob I appeared as El Shaddai, but I did not make my name Yahweh known to them. 4 I also made my covenant with them to give them the land of Canaan, the country in which they were living as aliens. 5 Furthermore, I have heard the groaning of the Israelites, enslaved by the Egyptians, and have remembered my covenant. 6 So say to the Israelites, "I am Yahweh. I shall free you from the forced labour of the Egyptians; I shall rescue you from their slavery and I shall redeem you with outstretched arm and mighty acts of judgement. 7 I shall take you as my people and I shall be your God. And you will know that I am Yahweh your God, who have freed you from the forced labour of the Egyptians. 8 Then I shall lead you into the country which I swore I would give to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and shall give it to you as your heritage, I, Yahweh." Genesis 17:11-14 And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you. 12 And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed. 13 He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant. 14 And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant. Exodus 12:48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof. This covenant is still in effect today and will continue to be available as long as there are physical humans alive on Earth and the heavens and earth have not been recycled! Anyone who wants to enter this covenant between Israel and God and enjoy its' blessings must be physically circumcised and willing to submit to God's law, the law of Moses and the law of those sitting in Moses' seat, to the extent that Moses's law and the law of those sitting in Moses's seat do not conflict with the law of God. While Christ was alive as a human, He and the disciples were under the Moses mediated covenant and subject to the proper judgments of those sitting in Moses' seat. Christ fulfilled the requirements of the Moses mediated covenant perfectly. Matthew 23:1-3 Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to His disciples, 2 saying: "The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. 3 "Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do. Galatians 5:3 And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. Matthew 5:18 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 2 Peter 3:10 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. God intended for all the tribes of Israel to serve as priests to the world just as the first born initially, and later the Levites, then the sons off Aaron, and then of Zadok were priests to Israel. Israel has not yet fulfilled this assignment but they will, after ha Mashiach returns, during the Sabbath millenium and white throne judgment. Exodus 19:6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. As long as physical humans exist, the Moses mediated covenant will be available as a school teacher to lead humans to the salvation and way of God. Galatians 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Hebrews 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. If you do choose to enter into the Moses mediated covenant, you are required to obey the whole law mandated in the covenant. Galatians 5:3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. Requirements.... of Humans- The circumcision of all males older than seven days as a sign of the covenant made with Abraham. Confirmation of the Moses mediated covenant with blood. This occurred once, for all generations, at mount Sinai after some of them heard the words of the covenant read by Moses, then verbally agreed to it and then had the blood of the covenant, a bull's blood, sprinkled on them. This covenant was automatically entered into by all future generations of Israel. Females have no entry requirements other than being under the authority of Yahweh God. Male strangers in the land must be circumcised to enter the covenant and keep the Passover. All must agree to obey the laws of God, Moses and those sitting in Moses' seat. of God- God agrees to free Israel from Egyptian slavery, bring them to the land promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, give them the land, be a God to them, bless them if they obey and curse them if they disobey. Promises.... by Humans- They promise to love and obey God. by God- God promises to be their God and bless them. Those in the Moses mediated covenant will eventually fulfill God's purpose for them to teach the letter of the law to the world. Micah 4:2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. |
